Lēlā
Trees have voices.
Stand still. Listen.
What if you could hear what was always there, hidden just beneath all the noise?
This is not a product. It is a vision for something that does not exist yet. A way of being near a tree that turns your attention into sound, your stillness into music, and your presence into something you can share.
Trees are already alive in ways we overlook. They send signals underground, share nutrients, respond to weather and light. Lēlā takes those invisible rhythms and makes them audible. All you have to do is show up and be still.
Where sound begins
Beneath the soil, trees share resources through vast fungal networks. The music down here is deep. Low, resonant tones that form the foundation of every tree's voice. To hear it, you just have to be still.
The body of sound
This is where the tree's main melody lives. Shaped by species, health, and everything happening around it. Every tree sounds a little different. Wherever you look, that is what you hear.
Light and airborne
The higher you go, the lighter the sound gets. Bright fragments of melody that shift with the wind, the season, the time of day. It is never the same twice.
Connect. Create. Capture.
Pick a sound from one tree and stretch it to another. Walk through what you have made. When it feels right, stand in the middle. Hand to heart. It is yours.
Every tree changes with context and circumstance. Whatever you capture will never exist again.
Footprints in sound
Whatever you make stays right where you made it. Friends can find it, stand on it, add to it. Over time these sounds layer up, like the rings of a tree.
A living archive, tied to place.
Every composition is geotagged. Every tree is mapped. Come back to hear what you made. See where you have been.
